Our Passion

Hi! My name is Cassandra, and I’m the Salon Manager here at The Doggie Salon. I’ve been grooming professionally in the area since 2011, and I’ve been in the dog world since 2001.  That's when my mother started her pet sitting business, and we dabbled in the grooming field back when I was just 13 years old. I have a humongous passion for animals, and my passion doesn’t just stop at grooming.  I own a rescue and take in unwanted animals - the problem is, I am a foster failure. I’m also known as the crazy Pug Queen around here with 9 of them. I’ve always known animals would be a part of my life, what I didn’t know is that they would run my life. I’ve been managing salons for about 4 years and look forward to what’s in store for us here at The Doggie Salon. The most exciting part of being here is working with my best friend Dominique. We’ve been working together for the last couple years. We work great as a team, and I couldn’t ask for a better one. I’ve recently been experimenting with creative grooming! Eventually, I’d love to become a competitive master groomer! I also don’t just stop at dogs, I groom cats and have been known to do small animals and reptiles nails as well as bird nails and wings but I’m willing to try anything!
